A proxy is a server that acts as an intermediary between a client and a destination server. More info.
Proxy UI
The proxy settings can be found within a section of the Networking Card in the device details view. In this section, you can view the configured URL and interface. Additionally, you have the option to enable or disable the proxy and modify its configuration.

Networking Card
Before enabling a proxy connection in a node:
- Make sure that you have the correct proxy settings for your network.
- If you are using a proxy server, make sure that it is up and running.
- If you are having trouble connecting to the internet, check your proxy settings.
Enabling and configuring Proxy

On the Networking card, click the ON button on the Proxy segment
A modal will appear to fill in the proxy configuration:
- URL field is mandatory and it should include the protocol, address, and port of the proxy server.
- USER field is optional and it should contain the username for authentication on the proxy server.
- PASSWORD field is optional and it should contain the password for authentication on the proxy server.
Only Socks5 and HTTP are allowed in the proxy configuration URL.

A warning will appear indicating that it is necessary to restart the node to apply the new configuration.

Finally, after rebooting the node, the proxy status is ON.
